What are NetSuite FSM Assets?
NetSuite FSM Assets represent anything that can be serviced, such as equipment, property, infrastructure, livestock, vegetation, and people. Assets can be associated with Transactions, Projects, Cases, and Tasks. An Asset can have child Assets. Child Assets can inherit field values from the parent Asset.
What are NetSuite FSM Consumables?
NetSuite FSM Consumables represent billable or fulfillable items used on Tasks. Upon Task completion, consumables are referenced on Sales Order line items, and the Sales Order is referenced on the Case. Consumables are also referenced on Item Fulfillment line items.
